CMF inc., "Canadian Metal Fashion Inc." with Quebec Enterprise Number (NEQ) 1143333426, is a for-profit private company, incorporated as a Corporation. We specialize primarily in manufacturing commercial use products designed for restaurants, hotels, offices, residences, and healthcare facilities.

When you use our services, you entrust us with your personal information. We understand that this is a significant responsibility, and we make every effort to protect your data and provide you with the ability to manage it.

WEB HOSTING AND EMAILS
We utilize the expertise and services of Funio (Miss Group) for hosting our website and managing our emails. The servers used are located in three data centers situated in Canada.

SOCIAL MEDIA
When you interact with us through social media, such as our Facebook page, the personal information you provide is shared with the social media networks themselves and not with us. This information is subject to the respective privacy policies of the social media platforms. Please note that the information you post on social media may become public.

MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
We make use of various management software to oversee various aspects of our business such as accounting, communication, sending letters and notices, generating reports, as well as preparing statements and declarations. 7. How long do we retain your personal information?

CMF inc. retains personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected or used, or as permitted or required by applicable laws. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include the existence of legal obligations to which we are subject (for example, certain laws require us to keep records of your transactions for a certain period before we can delete them).

However, when this information is no longer needed for business purposes, CMF inc. takes reasonable steps to permanently destroy or depersonalize it.

We typically retain your personal data for a period of 6 years.

CMF inc. implements physical, organizational, contractual, and technological security measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, and inappropriate use. Only employees and authorized individuals with a professional and legal need for this information have access. They have been trained and are required to uphold the confidentiality of your data.

We have also established specific procedures and resources to document and manage security incidents under the best possible conditions.

However, as no mechanism can guarantee absolute security, there is always some risk when using the Internet to transmit personal information.

9. Do we collect personal information from children?

Our products and services are not intended for children, and we do not intentionally collect any personal data from minors. If you are a minor, below the age of consent (14 years in Quebec), as per the laws applicable to your place of residence, please do not provide us with personal data without the explicit consent of a parent or guardian.

If you are a parent or guardian and you become aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

If we discover that we have unintentionally collected personal data from minors without verifying parental consent, we will immediately take steps to delete this information from our servers, as well as from any other associated website or product/service.

10. How can you review, update, or delete the personal information we collect from you?

At any time, you have the right to access and rectify your personal information. You have the right to request CMF inc. to consult, modify the use, rectify, or delete your personal data. Please address your request to our privacy officer below.

We will respond to your request within a maximum of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of the written request and in a structured and commonly used technological format. However, fees may be required to process your request.

11. Changes and Updates to this Policy.

CMF inc. reserves the right to revise its policy at any time, based on the evolution of its activities, applicable laws, the availability of new technologies, or the introduction of new products, services, or features.

When modifications are made, the date of the last update will be revised and displayed at the top of the policy. We encourage you to regularly check the policy to stay informed of any changes.
